The Ordering Process
If you would like to order a sample of one of our designs, please send us an email at studio@candyinkevents.com stating the name of the invitation, your colour theme and postal address. We aim to send your sample to you within 10 working days.
Once you are happy with your chosen invitation design, the next stage will be to look at your text. Once this is ready, email it to us and we will set this up and email back a PDF proof. If you need help or inspiration you can have a look at our templates.
At this stage you can tweak your text and make changes if need. Once you're happy with the wording, we will create one final sample with your text dropped in and have this posted to you within 5-7 working days. Once you receive the sample you will need to make sure you're 100% happy with the design, colours and text and give us the go-ahead.
Once approved, we will give you a timescale on when you can expect to receive your order. We'll then begin production.
Please bear in mind lead times can be anywhere between 3-6 weeks after you're proofs are signed off. If you need your items by a specific date, do let us know before you order and we'll do our best to accommodate.
After your invitations are complete, we can start looking at your ‘on the day’ items (such as orders of service, menus and place cards). The information to complete these must be with us six weeks before your wedding. The only exception is information for place cards and table plan, which you can send up to two weeks before the day. As with your invitations, you will be emailed or posted layout proofs for all of your ‘on the day’ items, which you must approve.
You are very welcome to order your stationery in stages (eg: save the date cards first, invitations later) and then, when you have an idea of final numbers and a full guest list, you can order additional items such as place cards, menus and table plan.
Bespoke designs
We do offer a bespoke service where we would have an initial telephone consultation to gather your thought and ideas.
You are also welcome to email any ideas over to us on studio@candyinkevents.com.
We would then put a sample together and possible discuss amendments once you have received these.
This service does have a flat fee rate of £50 to cover our time and materials plus the cost of the final items.
